InnoGrid2020+ will take place 26-27 of June in Brussels, and both FLEXICIENCY and the BRIDGE initiative are represented.
The BRIDGE initiative participates in the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) next June 2017 with a session focussed on the main messages to policy makers from the demonstration projects, with a particular emphasis on the latest legislative proposals of the European Commission, “Clean Energy for All Europeans", published in November 2016.
The second FLEXICIENCY Advisory Board meeting was held the 29th March 2017, hosted by Enel in the Enel Smart Grid Laboratory in Milan (Italy).
During the meeting, attended by many project stakeholders representing different players of the energy market (DSOs, TSOs, Regulators, Energy Retailers, Research Centers, Associations, etc.), the project representatives made a short overview on the project with a focus of the main achievements reached so far. After the presentation of the last developments of the EU Market Place, the virtual ICT environment which aims to catalyze the interactions between relevant stakeholders in an open and standardised way in order to encourage cross-border and cross-player access to innovative energy services, the stakeholders were asked to provide feedback and comments on the platform.
The FLEXICIENCY consortium was glad for all the useful inputs received and for the fruitful discussion with all the stakeholders.
